Lion’s mane

The reddish-brown lion’s mane jellyfish is common along the entire Norwegian coast and even as far north as Svalbard and Greenland. Specimens have been found that are more than two metres across with tentacles up to 30 metres in length! Its stinging cells are found along these tentacles.
