The whitethroat
The whitethroat is common along the coast and thrives in open scrubland with low bushes. Its back is greyish-brown and it has a beige-white underside and reddish-brown wings. The male has a grey cap, while the female’s is brown. The whitethroat nests in the back dunes in the Bore-Sele area. Photo: wikimedia.org
