Moon jellyfish

The common or moon jellyfish is a transparent blue colour with four rings at its centre. It is often found washed up on the beaches of Jæren. It is a southern species and is only found as far north as Bergen. The common jellyfish doesn’t sting humans because its small stinging cells cannot penetrate our skin.
