The common gull

The common gull is the smallest of the commoner Norwegian gulls. It is easily recognised by its silver-grey back and yellowish-green legs and bill. It used to be a common nesting bird along the Jæren coastline, but populations have declined dramatically in recent years. But you can still find them looking for food along the beaches, especially outside the breeding season.
